Short answer: There’s no release date yet for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2. Ufotable’s latest promotional reel moved it out of 2026, so 2027 is the earliest realistic window. The next chance for news is Jump Festa 2027 on December 19 and 20, 2026, where Demon Slayer is on the main Jump Super Stage. Part 1 is streaming on Crunchyroll now.

Where Demon Slayer Is Now
There won’t be a traditional Season 5. Season 4, the Hashira Training arc, aired in 2024, and its finale announced that the final story, the Infinity Castle arc, would be told as a trilogy of movies. The Infinity Castle is Muzan Kibutsuji’s shifting fortress, where the Demon Slayer Corps finally fights Muzan and his Upper Rank demons.
Infinity Castle Part 1: In Theaters and Now Streaming
- Japan: July 18, 2025
- US: September 12, 2025
- Crunchyroll: streaming since July 28, 2026, subbed and dubbed, worldwide except Japan and mainland China
Part 1 was a huge box office hit around the world, which is one reason fans expected Part 2 quickly. It’s included with a Crunchyroll subscription, so if you missed it in theaters, you can watch it now.
When Is Infinity Castle Part 2 Coming Out?
Neither ufotable, Aniplex nor Crunchyroll has announced a release date or year for Part 2. Some early-2026 reports claimed a 2027 date, and a later correction made clear nothing was confirmed. In mid-2026, ufotable’s promotional reel moved the film into its “future projects” with no 2026 date, which points to 2027 at the earliest.
Watch for Jump Festa 2027. Shueisha’s event runs December 19 and 20, 2026 at Makuhari Messe in Japan, and Demon Slayer is listed on the Jump Super Stage. The stages are livestreamed on the official Jump Channel on YouTube. A trailer or date reveal there is possible, but it hasn’t been promised. We’ll update this page as soon as there’s official news.
