About NerdSnack

Your daily dose of everything geek culture.

Our Mission

NerdSnack was built for fans, by fans. We cover the stories that matter to the geek community — from the latest blockbuster trailers and game releases to deep-dive reviews, lore breakdowns, and tech that actually moves the needle. Our goal is to be the snack-sized source of signal in a sea of noise.

What We Cover

  • Movies & TV — Reviews, trailers, casting news, and everything streaming.
  • Gaming — Console, PC, mobile, and tabletop — we play it all.
  • Comics & Anime — Weekly pulls, arc breakdowns, seasonal rankings.
  • Tech & Gadgets — Gear worth your money, explained without the jargon.
  • Science & Space — Real discoveries, made approachable.

Editorial Standards

Every article published on NerdSnack is written by a human — reviewed, edited, and fact-checked before it goes live. We do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial coverage. When a piece is sponsored or written in partnership with a brand, it is clearly labeled.

We correct errors promptly. If you spot something wrong, email us at editorial@nerdsnack.com and we'll investigate.

Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure

NerdSnack is supported by advertising and affiliate partnerships. We may earn a commission when you purchase through links on our site — at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial opinions or review scores.

We partner with Google AdSense and other ad networks to display relevant advertisements. For more information on how advertising data is used, see our Privacy Policy.

The Team

NerdSnack is an independent publication founded and run by a lifelong geek with a deep background in tabletop gaming, anime, and pop culture media. What started as a personal project to cut through the noise of entertainment news has grown into a full editorial site covering everything from Magic: The Gathering set releases to seasonal anime rankings and collectible guides.

Every article on NerdSnack is researched, written, and edited by someone who actually plays the games, watches the shows, and buys the cards. We do not outsource to content mills or use AI-generated articles. Our editorial voice is direct, informed, and always written from the perspective of a genuine fan.

Our editorial team brings experience across:

  • Trading card games — Magic: The Gathering, Riftbound, Star Wars: Unlimited, and the wider TCG market
  • Anime and manga — seasonal coverage, series retrospectives, and streaming guides
  • Collectibles — Funko Pop, card grading, limited edition products
  • Pop culture — film, television, and the broader entertainment landscape

We are proudly independent — no corporate parent, no editorial mandates from advertisers. Opinions are our own. Recommendations are honest. If we think something is bad, we say so.

NerdSnack is run by a small, passionate team of writers, editors, and pop-culture obsessives spread across North America. We are indie — no corporate parent, no editorial mandates from advertisers. Just people who love this stuff.
