What’s in Chaos Rising?

Chaos Rising (ME04) is the fourth Mega Evolution set. It released on May 22, 2026, with Mega Greninja as its mascot, and it has 122 cards: 86 in the main set and 36 secret rares numbered 087 to 122.

Should you buy Chaos Rising packs or singles?

ProductPricePer pack
Booster Box (36 packs)$180.74$5.02
Booster Bundle (6 packs)$35.64$5.94
Sleeved Booster Pack$6.69$6.69
Elite Trainer Box (9 packs)$70.32$7.81

The booster box is the cheapest way to open packs, at about $5.02 each. But if you want one specific chase card, buy the single: the Mega Greninja ex Special Illustration Rare costs less than a booster box, and a box doesn’t guarantee you’ll pull it. The Elite Trainer Box costs the most per pack, so buy it for the sleeves, dice and storage box, not the odds.

What are the best Chaos Rising cards to play?

If you play the game, the regular Double Rare versions of the set’s strongest ex cards cost about 50 cents to $1 each.
