Short answer: Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is November 30. A real collector deal beats today’s market price or MSRP: a Pokémon Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box at its $49.99 MSRP, a One Piece booster box anywhere near $120, or a LEGO set below its US list price. Don’t pay presale prices for November releases. They usually fall after launch.
Updated October 22, 2026 · Prices last checked October 22, 2026 (TCGplayer market prices, LEGO US list prices). We’ll re-check them the week of Black Friday.
Who this is for: Collectors and gift buyers who want to know whether a Black Friday price on cards or LEGO is actually a deal. Every number below is a real price with the date we checked it, so you have something to compare against on the day.

Three big card releases land before it: Pokémon Delta Reign on November 6, MTG Star Trek on November 13 and One Piece OP-18 on November 20. By Black Friday, all three will be past launch day, which is usually when presale prices start to cool.
How do you know if a Black Friday card deal is real?
Compare the sale price with two numbers: the product’s MSRP and its current market price on TCGplayer. If it beats both, it’s a deal. If it only beats a crossed-out “list price” the seller chose, it isn’t.
Presale prices are the biggest trap. Pitch Black’s preorder prices fell 32–80% within ten weeks of release, and its Elite Trainer Box now trades around $74. Delta Reign’s ETB has already slipped from about $121 to $106 in a single week this month.
Pokémon TCG prices to beat
| Product | Market price (Oct 22) | A real deal is |
|---|---|---|
| Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box (out Nov 6) | $106.29 (presale) | $49.99 MSRP |
| Delta Reign Booster Box (out Nov 6) | $238.91 (presale) | $161.64 MSRP |
| Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box | $74.36 | Anything under $74 |
| Chaos Rising Elite Trainer Box | $71.32 | Anything under $71 |
| Perfect Order Elite Trainer Box | $71.18 | Anything under $71 |
| Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box | $131.97 | Anything under $131 |
| Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box | $129.16 | Anything under $129 |
For Delta Reign, the deal is simply MSRP. The Pokémon Center, Target and Best Buy sell at MSRP when stock drops, so check them before paying marketplace prices. Our Delta Reign release guide has every product and its price.
For older sets, any price under today’s market number is a genuine discount. Chaos Rising and Perfect Order ETBs sit near $71, while Prismatic Evolutions and Ascended Heroes cost almost twice that. If you’re buying packs to open, see which recent Pokémon sets give the most value per pack.
Magic: The Gathering prices to beat
| Product | Market price (Oct 22) |
|---|---|
| Star Trek Play Booster Display (out Nov 13) | $132.48 (presale) |
| Star Trek Bundle (out Nov 13) | $58.70 (presale) |
| Reality Fracture Play Booster Display | $130.14 |
| Reality Fracture Bundle | $46.39 |
| Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster Display | $108.40 |
Use the market price as your line. A Black Friday price under it is a real discount, and Marvel Super Heroes is already the cheapest box here at $108.40.
Star Trek is the one to watch. It releases two weeks before Black Friday, and its biggest chase cards are the actor-signed headliners (see the full Star Trek chase list). For every set coming next, see our MTG release schedule.
One Piece Card Game prices to beat
OP-18 and EB-05 list at $4.99 a pack, so a 24-pack booster box costs $119.76 at MSRP. Recent boxes trade far above that:
| Booster box | Market price (Oct 22) |
|---|---|
| OP-18 The Dominance of God (out Nov 20) | $353.77 (presale) |
| EB-05 Heroines Edition Vol. 2 (out Oct 30) | about $349 |
| OP-17 | about $304 |
| OP-16 | about $210 |
A One Piece box at or near MSRP is the deal, and that usually means your local game store on release day, not a Black Friday sale. Our OP-18 release guide explains why not to lock in presale prices.
LEGO prices to beat
| Set | US list price |
|---|---|
| Pokémon Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72153) | $649.99 |
| Icons Minas Tirith (11377) | $649.99 |
| UCS Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457) | $799.99 |
| Architecture Sagrada Familia (21065, out Nov 1) | $799.99 |
| Pokémon Pikachu and Poké Ball (72152) | $199.99 |
| Pokémon Eevee (72151) | $59.99 |
With LEGO, the list price is the line. Any discount from Amazon, Target or Walmart is real, as long as the set number matches. Pikachu and Poké Ball is the outlier: sealed copies already sell for about $139 on the aftermarket (BrickPicker), so don’t pay full list for it.
LEGO announces its own Black Friday promotions in November, and we’ll add them here when they’re official. For the full list of this year’s sets, see the best LEGO sets of 2026.
What to skip on Black Friday
- Presale prices for November releases. A Delta Reign ETB at $106 or an OP-18 box at $354 is a pre-launch price, not a deal.
- “Mystery” repack boxes. They’re priced so the seller wins on average.
- Doorbusters measured against a made-up list price. Check the TCGplayer market price first.
- Packs when you want one card. Buying the single is almost always cheaper than chasing it.
