The most expensive Stardust Trails (GD06) card is the LR++ Infinite Justice Gundam at $1,000, with the LR++ Gundam Bael right behind at $995.97 (TCGplayer market, November 5, 2026; one sale each). After those two, prices drop to about $70-110 for the five SP base cards and $77.80 for the LR+ Altron Gundam (EW). An LR++ turns up roughly once in 13 to 60 boxes, so if you want one, buying the single costs far less than chasing it.

What are the most expensive Stardust Trails cards?

|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Infinite Justice Gundam | LR++ | $1,000.00 | $1,000 (1 sale) |

Two cards make up most of the money in this set. Each LR++ costs about nine times the next card down, and each has only one sale so far, so treat $1,000 as a rough number until more copies sell.
Market prices also lag behind sales. The five SP cards have been selling for $65-89 each in the latest sales, so Argama’s $110.10 market price is already out of date.

1. Infinite Justice Gundam (LR++): $1,000
Athrun Zala’s mobile suit from Gundam SEED Destiny, in the set’s top rarity. The LR++ puts Athrun behind the suit in a gold-trimmed frame (illustration credited to Soezy/Kota). One copy sold on TCGplayer for $1,000 on November 4.
The same card is far cheaper in its other versions: $45.31 for the LR+ and $8.33 for the regular Legend Rare. In play, it’s a blue Lv.7 unit (5 AP, 5 HP) that can exile three units from your trash when deployed to send an active enemy unit back to its owner’s hand.
2. Gundam Bael (LR++): $995.97
McGillis Fareed’s Gundam Bael from Iron-Blooded Orphans, also with its pilot behind the suit. It sold once, for $995.97 on November 5. The regular Legend Rare is $3.27 and the LR+ is $34.22.
Bael has High-Maneuver, so it can’t be blocked. When it’s deployed with four or more Gjallarhorn cards in your trash, it digs the top four cards of your deck for a Gjallarhorn or Tekkadan unit. It’s also the only LR++ in TCGTalk’s 312-pack opening sample.
3. Argama (SP): $110.10
The AEUG warship, as a white Base card in special art. Its first TCGplayer sale was $149.94 on October 30. The five latest sales were $70-78, and TCGplayer’s market price follows recent sales, so it will likely keep sliding toward that.
4. Archangel (SP): $89.81
The Gundam SEED warship as a blue Orb Base, with a winged Gundam flying in front of the ship. It first sold for $100 on November 1 and has settled at $76-80.
5. Axis (SP): $87.35
Neo Zeon’s asteroid fortress as a purple Base, with a red Neo Zeon mobile suit in the foreground (illustration credited to kankurou). Recent sales run from $69.69 to $89.49, the widest spread of the five SPs.
All five SP cards are Base cards: warships and strongholds first printed in earlier sets, now with special art and an SP mark. Their numbers still use the original set codes (Argama is GD02-129), but these versions come from Stardust Trails packs.

The rest of the top 10 are moving in different directions. Altron Gundam (EW) LR+ sold for $54-60 on release day and $77.50-99.99 on November 5. Its regular Legend Rare climbed too, from an $18.23 to a $30.11 market price, which suggests players want it for decks, not just collectors. ZZ Gundam LR+ has also risen, from $45-49 on October 31 to $60-65. Harry Ord, a Turn A Gundam pilot, is the priciest R+ alt art; it has sold for $47-58 every day since November 1.

How rare are LR++ and SP cards in Stardust Trails?
An English booster box holds 24 packs of 12 cards, so 288 cards, and a case holds 12 boxes. The set has 135 cards plus 8 tokens. On top of those, TCGplayer lists 46 parallel versions: 2 LR++, 12 LR+, 20 R+ alt arts and 12 Link Rares, plus the 5 SP bases.
Bandai doesn’t publish pull rates. These are community estimates, so read them as a rough guide, not a promise.
| Rarity | Cards | Per box (est.) | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Legend Rare (LR) | 12 | About 8 | 13 boxes |
| Link Rare | 12 | 4 | 5 openers agreed |
| Alt art (LR+ or R+) | 32 | About 2 | 13 boxes |
| SP base | 5 | 1 in 2-3 boxes | 5-6 in 13 boxes |
| LR++ | 2 | 1 in 13 to 1 in 60 boxes | 1 pull; JP guide |
Estimates from TCGTalk’s tally of 312 packs (13 English boxes) opened on release weekend, and Gamepedia’s Japanese guide for the 1-in-60 LR++ figure.

LR++ odds are the shakiest number here. TCGTalk’s sample turned up exactly one LR++ (a Bael) in 13 boxes. Gamepedia’s Japanese guide puts it at about 1 in 60 boxes, or 1 in 120 for one specific LR++. Japanese packs hold 6 cards instead of 12, so English boxes may hit more often than that, but nobody has a big enough sample to say how much.
Either way, a full 12-box case is no sure thing. At 1 in 13 boxes, a case has about a 62% chance of an LR++. At 1 in 60, it’s about 18%.
Chasing one specific LR++ by opening boxes would take somewhere between 26 and 120 boxes, or roughly $2,700 to $14,500 at November 5-6 box prices. The single is about $1,000.
Is a Stardust Trails booster box worth it?
A booster box was $120.63 on TCGplayer’s market price (November 5), and the five latest sales were $103.54-115 on November 6. Those sales are under the $119.76 that 24 packs cost at Bandai’s $4.99 pack price. On release day, October 30, TCGplayer’s price history shows 287 boxes sold at $114.99-142.64.
A sealed case didn’t save money as of November 5. It’s $1,524.36 market, and the latest case sales ($1,380-1,464.93, November 2-4) work out to $115-122 per box.
Here’s the expected value of one English box, using the estimated odds above and November 5 market prices. Bulk commons, uncommons and rares count as $0.
| Pulls per box (est.) | Avg price | Value |
|---|---|---|
| 8 Legend Rares | $6.48 | $51.85 |
| 2 alt arts (LR+ or R+) | $26.81 | $53.61 |
| 4 Link Rares | $0.96 | $3.84 |
| 0.4 SP | $86.19 | $34.48 |
| LR++ (1 in 60 to 1 in 13) | $997.99 | $16.63-76.77 |
| Total | $160-221 |
On paper, an average box beats its price. We also simulated 20,000 boxes with the same odds and prices. The median box came out at about $140 in hits, one in four came in under $100, and about 57% had no SP or LR++ at all.
Three things cut into that paper value:
- Prices are falling. Argama SP went from a $149.94 first sale to $70-73. The Infinite Justice LR+ went from $89.90-101 on release day to $40-46 by November 5.
- Market price isn’t what you’d get. Selling singles means fees, shipping and undercutting other sellers.
- The odds are thin. If a box really has 4 Legend Rares instead of 8, the total drops by about $26.
For comparison, Freedom Ascension (GD05, July 24, 2026) has five LR++ cards led by Wing Gundam Zero (EW) at $3,910.18, and its box was $165.96 on November 5. Stardust Trails’ top end is much cheaper. You can see how Gundam boxes compare with other sets in our 2026 booster box price tracker.
Our take: open a box if you enjoy opening it, not as an investment. If you want one specific card, buy that card. Prices can drop, and many of these already have.
Best Stardust Trails cards to keep that aren’t the priciest
Not every good pull is in the top 10. These picks are about the characters, the art or the price, not about future value. Prices are TCGplayer market, November 5, 2026.
ZZ and 0083 cards: the set’s two new series
Stardust Trails is the first set with Gundam ZZ and 0083: Stardust Memory, so it’s the first set with cards for Judau Ashta, Elpeo Ple, Kou Uraki and Anavel Gato. The pilots are R+ alt arts; the two mobile suits are LR+.

Best art under $40
Our picks for art. Several LR+ cards in this set use a bright graffiti and pop-art style that looks nothing like the regular versions. Where the illustrator credit on the card is legible, we’ve added it.

Budget picks under $5
The regular Legend Rare versions are the cheap way to own the big names. The regular Gundam Bael is $3.27, against $995.97 for its LR++.

What’s next: when is Gundam GD07 Blazing Fist?
The next booster, Blazing Fist (GD07), comes out January 29, 2027 in the US, per TCGplayer’s set listing, and January 30 in Japan. It brings in Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team as a new series, and Burning Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam makes its card game debut.
ICv2 reports the same format as Stardust Trails: 12-card packs, 24-pack boxes and 135 card types plus a token, with 46 alternate art versions. Bandai’s English products page didn’t list GD07 yet as of November 6, 2026, but one US retailer, Miniature Market, has box preorders at $119.99.
