When does Percy Jackson Season 3 come out?
Season 3 starts on Friday, November 20, 2026. Disney+ announced the date at San Diego Comic-Con in July. That’s a change for the show: new episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 came out on Wednesdays.
Disney+ hasn’t said how many episodes drop on premiere day or what time they go live. We’ll add both as soon as Disney+ confirms them.
What is Percy Jackson Season 3 about?
The Titan’s Curse opens with Percy, Annabeth, Grover and Thalia on a rescue mission at a school in Maine, where two young demigods, Nico and Bianca di Angelo, need to get to Camp Half-Blood. The mission goes wrong, Annabeth disappears, and the goddess Artemis and her Hunters get pulled in.
Disney’s own description centers on “the sudden disappearance of Annabeth” and a Great Prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi. The Titan Atlas is the main villain, and the season moves the series toward an open war between the gods and the Titans. “There’s a war coming between the gods and the Titans,” Percy says in the teaser.
Walker Scobell told the press it’s “definitely our darkest season yet.”

Is there a trailer?
Yes. Disney+ showed a teaser and announced the premiere date at San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H on July 23, 2026, with Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart, Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie on stage. Leah Sava Jeffries joined by video because she was filming overseas.
How to catch up before Season 3
You only need the two earlier seasons of the show, and both are on Disney+. The 2010 and 2013 movies are a separate adaptation, so you can skip them.

| Watch | Book it adapts | When it aired |
|---|---|---|
| Season 1 (8 episodes) | The Lightning Thief | December 2023 to January 2024 |
| Season 2 (8 episodes) | The Sea of Monsters | December 2025 to January 2026 |
| Season 3 (8 episodes) | The Titan’s Curse | From November 20, 2026 |
Short on time? Rewatch the Season 2 finale. Season 3 picks up the story from there.
If you’d rather read ahead, the original five books come in this order:
- The Lightning Thief (2005)
- The Sea of Monsters (2006)
- The Titan’s Curse (2007)
- The Battle of the Labyrinth (2008)
- The Last Olympian (2009)
Will there be a Percy Jackson Season 4?
Not officially, as of early November 2026. Disney+ renewed Season 3 in March 2025, before Season 2 aired, so an early renewal wouldn’t be a surprise. If the show keeps following the books, Season 4 would adapt The Battle of the Labyrinth.
Updated November 5, 2026. We’ll add the episode schedule and release time as soon as Disney+ confirms them.
