A new Avatar in a world that doesn’t want one. Pavi, a young Earthbender, finds out she’s the next Avatar after Korra. The problem is that the world has been wrecked by a cataclysm, and people now see the Avatar as humanity’s destroyer, not its savior.
Pavi and her twin sister, Nisha, have to uncover where they really came from while trying to save the Seven Havens that hold what’s left of civilization together. As in The Legend of Korra, the portals between the human and spirit worlds are open.
It’s set 225 years after Korra and about 295 years after Aang’s story, so every main character is new.

Saheli Khan leads the cast as Pavi. The main voices are:

- Jae, an Airbender: Major Curda
- Geet, Pavi’s cat-monkey companion: Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced Appa and Momo in the original series
Akshay Khanna, Sakina Jaffrey, Darren Barnet and Dianne Doan round out the cast. Behind the scenes, original creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are back as executive producers, and Jeremy Zuckerman, who scored both earlier shows, is writing the music. Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation produce the series, with animation by France’s La Chouette Compagnie.
