What is the JCC arc about?
JCC (Japan Clear Creation) is the school that trains Japan’s professional killers. Sakamoto and Shin sneak in to find intel on Slur, also called X, the man behind the bounty on Sakamoto’s head. The teaser shows both of them undercover inside the school, and Sakamoto fights with a pen, the weapon he was randomly assigned in the JCC entrance exam.
Meanwhile, ORDER members Nagumo, Shishiba and Osaragi head to Kyoto on a job and get ambushed. The season also goes back to Sakamoto’s own student days with Nagumo, Rion and Slur, which is where a lot of the series’ big answers come from.
New characters in Season 2
- Amane: a top JCC student who has bad blood with the assassins’ organization
- Satoda: JCC’s longest-serving teacher, who once trained Sakamoto
- Yotsumura: a founding member of ORDER

Who is making Season 2?
- Animation: TMS Entertainment (returning)
- Director: Daisuke Nakajima, who worked on Season 1
- Supervising director: Masaki Watanabe, Season 1’s director
- Series composition: Taku Kishimoto
- Character design: Yo Moriyama
- Music: Yuki Hayashi
So the core team stays together. Watanabe steps back to an oversight role and Nakajima takes the director’s chair.
